Radar detectors are currently legal in all
states except Virginia and Washington D.C. Radar detectors
have continued to improve with the advances in
micro-circuitry, and improved logic and signal processing.
The most advanced radar detectors are now able to detect all
forms of radar in use, as well as laser, at greater
distances than ever before -- often miles in advance.
Additionally, some radar detectors even will show the number
of signals they are receiving, and from what direction the
radar is being detected. Other common radar detector options
include the ability to hard wire the unit directly into your
car, as well as improved resistance to false alarms. |
